  • OT assessment looks at how each individual participates in the tasks they need to do each day and identifies their unique strengths and challenges.

    We offer assessment for motor skills to assist with DCD diagnosis, handwriting skills, independence skills, overall well-being as well as sensory processing.

    Assessment results and recommendations will be provided to you in a comprehensive report.

  • Using assessment results, intervention will be tailored to each individual’s unique needs, with a focus on enhancing skills, promoting independence and improving overall well-being. From developing executive functioning skills to handwriting skills, Eala OT is dedicated to supporting young people unlock their full potential.

  • If you are unsure of how occupational therapy may benefit your child, you can schedule an online meeting with our OT. During this 30 minute meeting we will listen to your concerns and provide guidance on what assessment(s) and/or interventions would be beneficial.

    This consultation costs €75 and should you wish to proceed with an OT assessment this fee will be discounted from the total cost of assessment.

    Please note the purpose of this consult is to determine if OT is needed or not, thus, we will be unable to provide recommendations outside of this.

  • In certain circumstances, we are able to provide occupational therapy online. Please contact us for more details.

  • On occasions, it can be benficial to observe the young person in differrent environments. The OT can complete school visits if needed.

  • The OT can provide recommendations to your child’s teacher if needed. This can be completed either in-person, online or via phone call.

  • The transition from secondary school to university can be overwhelming. OT can support the young person develop the skills necessary to be a successful student, from increasing their independence skills to effective study skills.
